The 2.0 version of the China Africa SPS Cooperation Information Network has been launched and released
Recently, the opening ceremony of the "Entering Africa" Morocco session of the China Africa Economic and Trade Expo was held in Casablanca. At the opening ceremony, the 2.0 version of the China Africa SPS Cooperation Information Network, hosted by the International Department of the General Administration of Customs and constructed by Changsha Customs, was officially launched. Compared to the 1.0 version, the new version of the website has built four major databases: "Access Information", "Policy and Regulations", "Trade Data", and "Technical and Trade Measures", enabling multi terminal adaptation and access for mobile phones, tablets, and other devices.
The website has launched a bilingual "zero tariff" section in Chinese and English, which combines China's deployment of zero tariff measures for 53 African countries with diplomatic relations. The section systematically reviews the background of policy implementation, deeply interprets core terms, visually displays trade development trends, and comprehensively collects feedback from all parties, presenting the new cooperation results brought about by policy implementation in a three-dimensional manner.
The China Africa SPS Cooperation Information Network will be launched for the first time in June 2023, focusing on the core areas of customs inspection and quarantine, creating a one-stop public service carrier for information sharing, rule exchange, and risk prevention, and continuously empowering practical economic and trade cooperation between China and Africa.
As of now, the website has collected over 32000 pieces of access information for African agricultural and food products exported to China, providing a one-stop bilingual query service in Chinese and English. Users can accurately search by country, category, product name, production enterprise, and other dimensions. Real time consolidation of 218400 non economic and trade related information, including 131700 bilateral trade data, and dynamic generation of interactive trade maps and trend charts, reflecting the scale, structure, and development potential of China Africa trade. The website has also updated 47500 notices related to sanitary and phytosanitary measures and technical trade measures in the field of China Africa trade, and collected more than 950 updates on laws, regulations, and policies related to China Africa trade, covering key areas such as tariffs, access, and product quality. It has established a full chain service system of "regulatory investigation+policy interpretation+practical guidance".
Changsha Customs will take the construction of a smart customs as the starting point, continue to deepen content operations, ensure the smooth operation of the system, increase technological innovation efforts, and build a more stable and efficient digital bridge for China Africa economic and trade cooperation.
