Fujian Province's imports and exports to the European Union increased by 7.7% in the first four months of this year

According to statistics from Fuzhou Customs, in the first four months of this year, Fujian Province's imports and exports to the European Union amounted to 86.71 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.7%. Among them, exports amounted to 73.28 billion yuan, an increase of 7.9%; Imports amounted to 13.43 billion yuan, an increase of 6.5%.

From the perspective of major import and export countries, Germany and the Netherlands were the top two trading partners of Fujian Province's imports and exports to the European Union in the first four months, with imports and exports of 32.18 billion yuan and 8.77 billion yuan respectively, accounting for 47.2% of Fujian Province's total import and export value to the European Union. In addition, Fujian Province ranks among the top in terms of import and export growth rates to Malta and Luxembourg, with increases of 182% and 296.8% respectively.

From the perspective of trade methods, in the first four months, Fujian Province imported and exported 61.73 billion yuan to the European Union through general trade, an increase of 3.8%, accounting for 71.2% of the total import and export value of Fujian Province to the European Union during the same period.

From the perspective of enterprise nature, private enterprises are the main force in Fujian Province's imports and exports to the European Union, with a total import and export value of 61.32 billion yuan, an increase of 10.1%, accounting for 70.7%.

During the same period, domestic brands imported and exported 30.09 billion yuan to the European Union, an increase of 11.4%, accounting for 34.7%.

It is worth mentioning that the "New Three Samples" products have become the main commodities exported by Fujian Province to the European Union, with an export value of 24.98 billion yuan, an increase of 10.4%, accounting for 34.1%. (Liu Zhen/Wen)
