In recent years, the wind power industry in Fujian Province has closely focused on the two directions of offshore wind power and overseas markets, actively exploring international markets and accelerating the internationalization layout. According to statistics from Fuzhou Customs, in the first four months of this year, Fujian Province exported wind turbines and their parts worth 98.729 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 563.2%.

Private enterprises are the backbone of the export of wind turbines and their components in Fujian Province. In the first four months of this year, exports amounted to 98.417 million yuan, an increase of 570.4%, accounting for 99.7% of the total export value of wind turbines and their components in Fujian Province during the same period. State owned enterprises also performed outstandingly, with a growth rate of 52.3%.

South Africa, Argentina, and Chile are the main export markets for wind turbines and their components in Fujian Province. In the first four months, new exports of 47.538 million yuan and 22.142 million yuan were made to South Africa and Chile respectively. There was no export data for the same period last year, accounting for 48.1% and 22.4% of the total export value of wind turbines and their components in Fujian Province during the same period, respectively; Exports to Argentina amounted to 28.211 million yuan, an increase of 23000 times, accounting for 28.6%.

The brand effect has empowered the export growth of wind turbines and their components in Fujian Province. In the first four months, the export of independent brands reached 97.894 million yuan, an increase of 80000 times, accounting for 99.2%. The brand development effect is significant.
