400000 ton vessel fully loaded for direct voyage to Caofeidian Port Area

On May 17, the ship "Foresight Sea" loaded with 400000 tons of Brazilian iron ore safely passed through the Laotieshan Waterway - the deep-water route (south line) in Caofeidian Port Area of Tangshan Port, and successfully berthed at berth 5 of Phase III Project of Ore Terminal in Caofeidian Port Area of Tangshan Port of Hebei Port Group. This marks the opening of a new chapter for fully loaded direct docking of 400000 ton ultra large ore ships in Caofeidian Port Area. Shijiazhuang Customs has implemented convenient measures such as ship intelligent telecommunications quarantine, unmanned aerial vehicle water gauge "cloud based" weighing, and differentiated inspection mode for imported iron ore based on risk levels, empowering technology to ensure the safety and stability of the imported iron ore industry chain and supply chain. In the first four months of this year, Shijiazhuang Customs supervised a total of 117 million tons of imported iron ore with a value of 73.229 billion yuan, an increase of 21.34% and 22.77% year-on-year, respectively.
