The export scale of construction machinery in Fujian Province exceeded 2 billion yuan in the first quarter of this year

As a well-established production base for construction machinery in China, the construction machinery industry in Fujian Province relies on its technological research foundation and leading advantages in the new energy industry. In recent years, its products have continuously transformed and upgraded towards new energy and high-end, and are highly welcomed by the international market. According to statistics from Fuzhou Customs, in the first quarter of this year, Fujian Province exported construction machinery worth 2.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17.3%.

Fujian construction machinery enterprises have seized the demand for infrastructure development in emerging markets such as ASEAN and Africa, continuously deepened trade cooperation, and performed outstandingly. In the first quarter, Fujian Province exported construction machinery worth 520 million yuan to ASEAN and 520 million yuan to African countries, an increase of 27.7% and 77.6% respectively, accounting for 43.3% of the total value of Fujian Province's construction machinery exports during the same period. The main export method is general trade. In the first quarter, Fujian Province exported 2.15 billion yuan of construction machinery through general trade, an increase of 23.1%, accounting for 89.6% of the total export value of construction machinery in Fujian Province during the same period.

Fujian Province's construction machinery is mainly exported by foreign-invested enterprises and private enterprises. In the first quarter, foreign-invested enterprises and private enterprises in Fujian Province exported construction machinery worth 1.2 billion yuan and 1 billion yuan respectively, an increase of 12.2% and 26.1%, accounting for 49.9% and 41.8% of the total export value of construction machinery in Fujian Province during the same period.

In order to assist the export of construction machinery in Fujian Province, Fuzhou Customs has carried out specialized "one-on-one" guidance in response to the high loading requirements and difficult supervision of construction machinery, embedding supervision into the entire process of enterprise declaration, ship berthing, and loading operations, ensuring efficient customs clearance and smooth export of construction machinery.
