Fujian Province's automobile exports increased by 26.1% in the first quarter of this year

At present, the global automotive industry is undergoing a profound transformation from the era of fuel to electrification and intelligence. Riding on the momentum of green development and technological innovation, Fujian's automobile exports have shown strong growth momentum from "accumulation" to "acceleration". According to statistics from Fuzhou Customs, in the first quarter of this year, Fujian Province's automobile exports reached 4.45 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 26.1%.

Emerging markets such as Africa and the Middle East are the main markets for Fujian Province's automobile exports. In the first quarter of this year, Fujian Province's automobile exports to Africa grew rapidly, with exports reaching 1.19 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 164.7%, accounting for 26.7% of Fujian Province's total automobile exports during the same period. Among them, exports to Tunisia reached 390 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 61.8 times. Among Middle Eastern countries, exports to Saudi Arabia and Kuwait are the most impressive, with car exports of 460 million and 110 million yuan respectively, an increase of 18.4% and 31.6 times year-on-year. The growth of traditional market exports is also impressive, with car exports to the European Union reaching 280 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 29.7%.

Private enterprises are the main force in Fujian Province's automobile exports. In the first quarter of this year, private enterprises in Fujian Province exported 2.88 billion yuan of automobiles, a year-on-year increase of 85.8%, accounting for 64.8% of the total value of automobile exports in Fujian Province during the same period. At the same time, the export momentum of state-owned enterprises' automobiles is good, with exports of 1.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.9%.

In addition, over 80% of self owned brand exports were made. In the first quarter of this year, the export of self owned brand automobiles in Fujian Province was 3.73 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 73.8%, accounting for 83.9%.
