Yongpai: Xiangshan Port achieves the first direct export of large-scale equipment with two 605 ton cranes to Indonesia

On April 1st, two gantry cranes, each with a height of 64.3 meters and a weight of 605 tons, completed roll on/roll off operations at the Dazhongzhuang Port in Xiangshan, Ningbo, and departed for Indonesia. This is the first time since the official opening of Xiangshan Port that large-scale equipment has been directly exported, marking that local high-end equipment manufacturing enterprises can go abroad directly at their doorstep.
This equipment is manufactured by Ningbo Lihua Port Machinery Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., representing the advanced level of domestic port machinery. In response to the transportation difficulties of oversized, overweight, and non disassemblable equipment, Xiangshan Port Company has formulated a special plan one month in advance to precisely control the entire process of berthing, connection, roll on/roll off, and other links. Xiangshan Customs has established a "one enterprise, one policy" assistance mechanism, intervened in the construction of the port in advance, and achieved "immediate use upon completion and rapid clearance".
The Deputy General Manager of Lihua Heavy Industry stated that in the past, it was necessary to transit through other domestic ports, but now it is directly shipped from Xiangshan, saving logistics costs of over 3 million yuan per trip and shortening the delivery cycle by half a month. We plan to ship about 10 batches this year, with an expected annual output value of 600 million yuan, and our goal is to double next year.
Xiangshan Customs stated that it will continue to optimize the business environment, promote the transformation of "port advantages" into "industrial advantages", and open up the "last mile" of port opening.
