China Guomen Times: Ningbo honey strengthens source control, exports over 200 tons in the first two months

Spring is bright and beautiful, rapeseed flowers bloom, and beekeepers chase after flowers and honey. In the first two months of this year, Ningbo Customs supervised the export of 216.49 tons of bee products with a total value of 2.7371 million yuan.
In the production workshop of Ningbo Jinteng Bee Industry Co., Ltd., 4.8 tons of honey are packaged and boxed through processes such as honey melting, honey feeding, mixing, impurity removal, filling, and light inspection. The company has been deeply involved in the industry for over 20 years and is a leading exporter of bee products in the Ningbo region, with an annual export value exceeding 20 million yuan.

In response to the industry characteristics of high export barriers and complex foreign technical trade measures for bee products, Ningbo Customs promotes the construction of a "export enterprise+bee farm+bee farmer" industrial model in the local area, supports bee farmers to form professional cooperatives, and forms a complete industrial chain integrating breeding, processing, and sales. In this mode, Ningbo Customs guides enterprises to strictly control raw material acceptance and production process control, strengthen self inspection and self-control of high-risk projects such as pesticide and veterinary drug residues, and achieve closed-loop supervision from bee farms to exports.
