Fujian Province exported plastic products worth 8.88 billion yuan in the first quarter of this year

Fujian Province is a major producer of traditional plastic products, relying on coastal ports, abundant petrochemical raw materials, and a complete industrial chain. Its plastic product production scale ranks among the top in the country. According to statistics from Fuzhou Customs, in the first quarter of this year, the export of plastic products in Fujian Province reached 8.88 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.5%, ranking sixth in the country in terms of export value.

Private enterprises are the main force in the export of plastic products in Fujian Province, with exports of 6.79 billion yuan in the first quarter, an increase of 10.3%, accounting for 76.4% of the total export value of plastic products in Fujian Province during the same period. ASEAN is the main export market for plastic products in Fujian Province, with exports of 2.16 billion yuan in the first quarter, accounting for 24.3%; In addition, Fujian Province's export of plastic products to the European Union has grown rapidly, with exports to Europe reaching 1.25 billion yuan in the first quarter, an increase of 28.5%.
