In the first quarter of this year, the export of LCD flat panel display modules in Fujian Province increased by 17.9%, ranking fourth in the country in terms of scale

Driven by the growing demand in fields such as intelligent electric vehicles and engineering healthcare, the market size of liquid crystal flat panel display modules (LCD) continues to expand and transform towards high-end and high added value. As a major province in China's digital economy, Fujian Province actively expands the international market for LCD flat panel display modules, and its export trend is improving. According to statistics from Fuzhou Customs, in the first quarter of this year, Fujian Province exported LCD flat panel display modules worth 4.75 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17.9%, ranking fourth in the country in terms of export scale.

Emerging markets have shown impressive performance. In the first quarter of this year, Fujian Province exported 1.36 billion yuan of LCD flat panel display modules to ASEAN, accounting for 28.7% of the total export value of LCD flat panel display modules in Fujian Province during the same period; Exports to Mexico amounted to 890 million yuan, a significant increase of 114.4%. In addition, exports to traditional markets have steadily increased, with exports to the European Union and South Korea reaching 540 million and 410 million yuan, respectively, an increase of 12.1% and 21%.

Processing trade exports account for nearly 80%. In the first quarter of this year, Fujian Province exported 3.68 billion yuan of LCD flat panel display modules through processing trade, an increase of 15.2%, accounting for 77.3% of the total export value of LCD flat panel display modules in Fujian Province during the same period.

Foreign invested enterprises are the main force in the export of LCD flat panel display modules in Fujian Province. In the first quarter of this year, exports amounted to 3.77 billion yuan, an increase of 16.1%, accounting for 79.3%. During the same period, private enterprises had a strong export momentum, exporting 960 million yuan, an increase of 28.5%, accounting for 20.2%.
