Fujian Province's solar cell exports exceeded 1 billion yuan in the first quarter of this year

According to statistics from Fuzhou Customs, in the first quarter of this year, Fujian Province exported solar cells worth 1.09 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 231.9%.

Private enterprises play a leading role in the export of solar cells in Fujian Province. In the first quarter of this year, private enterprises in Fujian Province exported solar cells worth 720 million yuan, an increase of 206.1%, accounting for 65.6% of the total export value of solar cells in Fujian Province during the same period; State owned enterprises exported 370 million yuan, an increase of 300.4%, accounting for 33.9%. In addition, the independent brands of solar cells in Fujian Province have grown rapidly, with exports reaching 660 million yuan, an increase of 277.6%, accounting for 60.3%.

The export of solar cells in Fujian Province has accelerated in emerging markets, with multiple outbreaks. In the first quarter of this year, exports to ASEAN amounted to 340 million yuan, an increase of 639.5%, accounting for 31.4% of the total export value of solar cells in Fujian Province during the same period; Exports to Brazil amounted to 160 million yuan, an increase of 31.4 times, accounting for 14.5%; We exported 71.749 million yuan and 63.085 million yuan respectively to Congo and Ghana, which are newly developed in Africa this year. In addition, the export momentum to traditional markets is also strong, with exports to the European Union reaching 240 million yuan, an increase of 462.5%, accounting for 22.2%.
