The 29th meeting of the China Korea Joint Economic and Trade Commission was held in Beijing

On April 20th, the 29th meeting of the China South Korea Joint Economic and Trade Commission was held in Beijing. Both sides exchanged in-depth views on deepening the economic and trade relations between China and South Korea, strengthening regional and multilateral cooperation, and so on.

The Chinese side stated that the leaders of the two countries have provided strategic guidance for deepening the development of the China South Korea strategic partnership, and China South Korea economic and trade cooperation faces more development opportunities. China is willing to work with South Korea to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, accelerate the second phase negotiations of the China South Korea Free Trade Agreement, prepare the "China South Korea Economic and Trade Cooperation Joint Plan (2026-2030)", expand bilateral trade and investment cooperation, strengthen communication and coordination under regional and multilateral frameworks such as the World Trade Organization and the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation, and promote China South Korea economic and trade cooperation to a new level.

The South Korean side stated that South Korea and China are important economic and trade partners of each other. The South Korean side is willing to work with the Chinese side to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, continuously deepen economic and trade cooperation in various fields, and maintain stable and smooth industrial and supply chains.
