Danish spinach seeds' scattered 'to Shenzhen farm
Recently, at Shekou Container Terminal, a batch of spinach seeds from Denmark successfully completed customs clearance procedures after efficient supervision and inspection by Shenzhen Customs. They were directly transported to the enterprise warehouse through the "conditional release" mode. After the laboratory test results are issued, they can be sent to planting bases such as Shenzhen Guangming Farm for spring farming production.
Previously, imported seeds had to wait for laboratory results before they could be picked up, which took about a week. The temperature and humidity inside the container fluctuated greatly in the morning and evening, which could affect the vitality of the seeds over time, "said Gao Enpu, the general manager of Shenzhen Seed and Seedling Co., Ltd." Under the 'conditional withdrawal' mode, the seeds can be stored in the warehouse in just two days and enter a professional storage environment with constant temperature and humidity as soon as possible, which not only ensures the germination rate of the seeds, but also greatly saves time and costs
In response to the strong timeliness and urgent demand for the import of spring plowing agricultural materials, Shenzhen Customs has coordinated with port and station operators and customs declaration enterprises in advance, organized the promotion of the "conditional withdrawal" policy, explained the latest import seedling policy regulations, declaration norms, and precautions, and guided enterprises to make good use of facilitation measures. While optimizing the process, Shenzhen Customs implements full closed-loop control over on-site inspection, delivery supervision, and subsequent disposal, requiring enterprises to strictly implement anti spill measures during loading, unloading, and transportation, and strictly prevent the spread of harmful organisms from outside. In addition, the customs also arranged a dedicated person to follow up on the entire process of goods inspection, to grasp the detection status in real time, and to achieve the "arrival, inspection, and release" of spring plowing materials.
As of March 5th this year, Shenzhen Customs has supervised and released a total of 66.45 tons of imported seeds with a value of 3.7294 million yuan.
