The reporter learned from Shanghai Customs that in the first two months of this year, there were 7281 international navigation ships entering and exiting Shanghai Port, a year-on-year increase of 2.4%, reaching a historical high; There were 41000 inbound and outbound aircraft, a year-on-year increase of 1.2%.
During the Spring Festival, the Nangang Port located in the Lingang New Area was busy with operations. To ensure the smooth shipment and export of domestically produced new energy vehicles, Yangshan Customs has opened a "green channel" for customs clearance. In the first two months of this year, the import and export of automobiles at Nangang Port reached 163000, a year-on-year increase of more than double.
Since March, green shipping has seen frequent highlights. On March 5th, the international sailing vessel "Dafei Ousmim" successfully refueled 3643 tons of domestically produced green methanol at Yangshan Port, setting a new record for single refueling volume in China. Hongkou Customs has established a linkage management system of "customs supervision accounts, enterprise inventory accounts, and third-party logistics accounts" to implement full chain digital supervision. While ensuring operational safety, it has effectively supported the development of localized green fuel supply chains.
In terms of air cargo, in early March, the first route of Italian Mediterranean Airlines Cargo at Pudong Airport was officially opened, further expanding the China Europe freight network. Shanghai Pudong International Airport Customs has implemented convenient modes such as "unaccompanied" inspection and appointment inspection, providing 24/7 barrier free customs clearance for non-stop cargo flights. In terms of air passenger transportation, the customs further optimized the supervision processes such as health quarantine and luggage inspection, implemented convenient measures such as self-service processing of departure tax refunds and self-service inquiry of luggage, equipped bilingual service posts, and continuously improved the passenger clearance experience. According to Shanghai Customs information, the number of inbound and outbound passengers at Shanghai port reached 6.92 million in the first two months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 1.5%.
