The horn of spring plowing has already sounded, and seizing the farming season to ensure a bountiful harvest has become the urgent task at present. With the smooth passage of the peak supply guarantee during holidays, Ningbo Customs has relied on the "Pro Qing Direct Train • Enterprise Demand Customs Response" mechanism to assist enterprise development, quickly opened up a green channel for spring plowing agricultural materials, seamlessly connected and launched the "Spring Plowing Escort Mode", and fully guaranteed the supply of agricultural production materials.
Recently, a batch of 621 tons of compound fertilizer from Huaken International Trade Co., Ltd. was successfully cleared and released by Ningbo Customs. "Previously, we were worried about whether this batch of imported spring ploughing fertilizers could be delivered in time, but we didn't expect the customs service to be so awesome." In response to the strong timeliness and urgent demand for spring plowing materials, Ningbo Customs actively guides enterprises to adopt paperless methods such as "online declaration" and "electronic payment" to handle customs clearance procedures. At the same time, enterprises are encouraged to independently adopt various modes such as two-step declaration, advance declaration, and guarantee release to quickly clear customs and ensure timely inspection and release of agricultural materials.
In addition, in response to the unfamiliarity of enterprises with tax reduction and exemption policies, customs officers actively carry out policy lectures, interpret in detail the elements of spring plowing material declaration and regulatory document requirements, guide enterprises to improve declaration efficiency, and effectively reduce customs clearance costs. According to statistics, in January, Ningbo Customs approved a total of 12 batches of imported agricultural materials such as fertilizers and pesticides, with a value of 11.373 million yuan, an increase of 20.0% and 30.5% year-on-year, respectively.
