From the time-honored brand "Foolish Melon Seeds" to the national brand "Three Squirrels", Wuhu nut stir fry has a long history and is deeply loved by people.
In the production workshop of Three Squirrels Co., Ltd., fully automated equipment runs at high speed. After screening, opening, flavoring, roasting, packaging and other processes, nuts are transformed into delicious fried snacks one by one. After on-site supervision by Wuhu Customs officers under Hefei Customs, a batch of nut snacks was sent to South Korea.
Three Squirrels Co., Ltd. is a private enterprise mainly engaged in the research and sales of nuts and snack foods, with annual sales exceeding 10 billion yuan. At present, there are 38 automated production lines here, with a maximum daily production capacity of 66000 boxes and 50000 cans of nuts in the workshop, "said Yu Zhenxiang, International Manager of Squirrel Cloud Supply International Trade Co., Ltd. In the past, the company mainly engaged in import business, importing nut raw materials from abroad. With the promotion of internationalization strategy and increasing export business, relying on cross-border e-commerce platforms, hundreds of Three Squirrels products have entered the markets of Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and other countries. From the beginning of our export business, the customs guided us to establish a quality management system, provided facilitation measures for customs clearance throughout the entire process, and helped us expand into overseas markets
In recent years, more and more Chinese snack brands have been expanding into overseas markets. Wuhu has gathered more than 100 large-scale food enterprises such as Three Squirrels, Liu Liu Mei, and Shark Fit. In order to assist food enterprises in seizing the market and going global, Wuhu Customs focuses on the export needs of enterprises, providing guidance from the aspects of raw material import, food production, export declaration, and product transportation. It has established a "Customs Enterprise Liaison Officer+Cloud Classroom" mechanism to timely interpret the regulations and standards of the export destination country (region) to ensure that products meet export requirements. Meanwhile, relying on the local inspection system and adopting the "cloud issuance" mode of inspection and quarantine certificates, the efficiency of inspection and release of exported food has been effectively improved.
From deeply cultivating nuts to focusing on all product categories, from exporting a single product to three-dimensional output of IP, content, and business models, Chinese enterprises are moving from 'product export' to 'brand export'. In the future, we have confidence in writing a new paradigm for the globalization of Chinese consumer brands. ”Yu Zhenxiang said.
According to statistics from Wuhu Customs, in the first 10 months of this year, Wuhu City exported agricultural products and food worth 620 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.5%.
