Nanping local beer fragrance wafts to Southeast Asia
Recently, Fujian Wuyi Xinghua Industrial Co., Ltd. successfully shipped nearly 400000 liters of lager beer to the Malaysian market, marking that Nanping Beer's export value will exceed 10 million yuan in 2026, an increase of 7.47 times compared to the whole year last year, achieving a leapfrog growth in overseas markets.
Xinghua Beer produced by Fujian Wuyi Xinghua Industrial Co., Ltd. is brewed with high-quality natural water from Mount Wuyi Mountain, which is pure and refreshing. As the only local private beer production enterprise in Fujian Province that has survived to this day, Xinghua Beer has a stable reputation in China. However, due to a lack of international market experience and unfamiliarity with overseas access rules, its export business has been stagnant for more than ten years.
In order to assist Nanping beer companies in going abroad again, Nanping Customs under Fuzhou Customs has implemented exclusive services of "one enterprise, one policy", interpreting in detail overseas access standards, packaging compliance requirements, and RCEP preferential policies of origin, providing targeted guidance for enterprises to adjust packaging labels and accurately respond to international rules. At the same time, a green channel for inspection will be opened to ensure efficient customs clearance of beer products.
There are significant differences in the admission standards for foreign alcoholic beverages. Thanks to the precise guidance of Nanping Customs, our export business can steadily recover and sales continue to rise, "said Huang Wuping, Deputy Director of Xinghua Beer's Quality Control Department.
Malaysia is located in the tropics, with a strong demand for beer consumption and a large number of local Chinese. The high acceptance of Chinese brands has provided favorable conditions for Fujian style beer to deeply cultivate the Southeast Asian market. Under the escort of customs, the company's overseas orders continue to expand and export performance has significantly increased. Nowadays, the Southeast Asian market has become the core overseas market of Xinghua Beer. This large-scale export from Malaysia further enhances the brand influence of "Minwei" beer in Southeast Asia and accelerates the company's international layout.
The customs will continue to implement a series of measures to optimize the business environment, support the improvement of foreign trade quality and efficiency, closely monitor the demand for overseas orders of characteristic products in the jurisdiction, accurately promote favorable policies for enterprises, fully support local characteristic food enterprises such as Xinghua Beer to deeply cultivate the Southeast Asian market, and help more high-quality characteristic products in Nanping set sail and seize the international market, "said the person in charge of Nanping Customs.
