From January to November, the export of alcoholic beverages and beverages in Fujian Province exceeded 1 billion yuan

With the stable demand in the Southeast Asian market and the expansion of the high-end market, the export of alcoholic beverages and beverages in Fujian Province has exceeded the 1 billion yuan mark. According to Xiamen Customs statistics, from January to November this year, Fujian Province exported 1.066 billion yuan worth of alcoholic beverages and alcoholic beverages.

From the perspective of product categories, malt brewed beer is the best-selling in overseas markets, with a total export value of 616 million yuan from January to November, accounting for 57.79% of the total export value of alcoholic beverages in Fujian Province during the same period, ranking third in the country. Among liquor products, the export of rice wine, rum and other spirits and Baijiu made from fermented sugarcane products grew significantly, with 14.69 million yuan, 10.43 million yuan and 3.41 million yuan respectively, up 1.23 times, 5.66 times and 2.54 times respectively year on year. In terms of beverages, exports of passion fruit juice, vegetable juice, and guava juice have grown rapidly, with year-on-year increases of 40.98 times, 4.12 times, and 3.28 times, respectively.

From the perspective of foreign trade entities, private enterprises exported 919 million yuan of alcoholic beverages and beverages from January to November, accounting for 86.21% of the total export value of alcoholic beverages and beverages in Fujian Province during the same period. Foreign owned enterprises exported 16.63 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.18 times.

From the perspective of export markets, East Asia is the main market for Fujian Province's alcohol and beverage exports, with an export value of 783 million yuan from January to November, accounting for 73.45%. The demand for alcohol and beverage products in the West Asian market continues to increase, with exports totaling 3.12 million yuan from January to November, a year-on-year surge of 9.22 times. The export of alcoholic beverages and beverages from Fujian Province to Oceania and North America was 24 million yuan and 21 million yuan respectively, with a year-on-year increase of 94.97% and 18.96%, respectively. In addition, the export growth rates to Vietnam, Morocco, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands are impressive, with year-on-year increases of 6.14 times, 5.54 times, 4.79 times, and 4.45 times, respectively.

In order to support Fujian Province's continuous expansion of overseas markets for liquor and beverages, Xiamen Customs, based on its functional advantages, has taken facilitation measures such as "advance declaration", "on-site inspection", and "cloud issuance" of inspection and quarantine certificates to fully assist in efficient customs clearance of goods. At the same time, the customs provide filing, interpretation of export destination country access standards, and guidance on the entire customs clearance process for export enterprises, helping Fujian liquor and beverages go global.
