Recently, Huangdao Customs under Qingdao Customs seized a batch of 265 old foreign garbage servers in the import freight channel.
During the on-site inspection by customs officers, it was found that there were obvious signs of use on the batch of old server cases, and some components were missing from the front end of the servers. After being sampled and sent to a professional organization for identification, the batch of old servers cannot operate normally after being powered on. They are scrapped servers that have lost their original purpose after use and belong to foreign garbage. At present, the relevant goods have been lawfully detained by the customs and will be ordered to be returned according to law.
China prohibits the import of foreign garbage in any form, and prohibits the dumping, stacking, and disposal of foreign garbage in China. Import enterprises should strictly comply with the Solid Waste Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China and relevant laws and regulations. For those who illegally import foreign garbage into China, the customs shall order them to return and impose fines in accordance with the law. Those who commit crimes will be held criminally responsible in accordance with the law. (Li Zhiyi/Text)
