Rongcheng Customs seized 1.2 tons of undeclared food

Recently, during the inspection of a batch of cross-border e-commerce goods declared for export by Rongcheng Customs under Qingdao Customs, it was found that in addition to the declared goods, more than 30 types of undeclared food such as rice, red dates, soybeans, etc. were also hidden, totaling 1.2 tons.

According to the Customs Law of the People's Republic of China and relevant laws and regulations, food is a legally inspected commodity for export. Enterprises should truthfully declare and strictly fulfill their declaration obligations when exporting legally inspected commodities. If the export of legally inspected goods is not declared or declared incorrectly, the customs will pursue corresponding legal responsibilities in accordance with the law. At present, the customs has not allowed the export of this batch of goods according to regulations. (Lin Haiyang/Text)
