According to the statistics of Khorgos Customs under Urumqi Customs, in 2025, the import and export freight volume of Khorgos Port will reach 46.431 million tons, with a year-on-year growth of 1.9%, ranking first in Xinjiang for eight consecutive years.

As a key node of the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road", Khorgos Port will realize the "two wheel drive" of railway and road transportation in 2025. In terms of railway ports, 9882 China Europe (Central Asia) trains were supervised throughout the year, with a year-on-year increase of over 13.2%, and a cargo volume of 14.237 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 17.8%; In terms of highway ports, driven by reform models such as "highway ports+territorial direct access" and "fast customs clearance for self driving export commodity vehicles", the freight volume increased by 27.3% year-on-year compared to last year.
