Rizhao blueberry enterprise obtains export qualification for the first time

Recently, three companies including Yuhai Blueberry Bay Ecological Agriculture Tourism Co., Ltd., Rizhao Berry Meida Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., and Rizhao Zhongyi Agricultural Technology Development Co., Ltd. in Rizhao City have been approved for the first batch of blueberry export qualifications in Rizhao, marking the entry of "Chentuan Blueberries" into the international market.

We have obtained the 'passport' to enter the international market! This year's blueberry season is striving for the first export business, "said Li Yi, General Manager of Rizhao Zhongyi Agricultural Technology Development Co., Ltd.

As the "hometown of blueberries in China", Chentuan Town in Rizhao has been deeply cultivated for more than 20 years and has built 28 standardized planting bases, gathering 13 agricultural leading enterprises, forming a full industry chain system from breeding and tissue culture to deep processing and sales.

The 'little blueberries' drive the' big market '. The Rizhao Customs under Qingdao Customs takes the initiative to provide advanced services and regards assisting blueberry exports as an important measure to empower rural revitalization, building a full chain service system of "policy guidance+technical assistance+process optimization".

In response to the shortcomings of enterprises in harmful organism prevention and control, traceability system, production record standardization, etc., the customs has established a special service team and cooperated with the town government to carry out precise docking. Based on the registration standards for fresh fruit export qualifications, customized processing plans are provided for enterprises. Invite experts in the fields of plant quarantine and food safety to conduct specialized training, predict technical trade barrier risks, connect with quarantine requirements of importing countries or regions in advance, guide enterprises to benchmark international standards and optimize production processes, and ensure that products meet overseas market access standards.

The precise assistance from customs not only helped us overcome the qualification difficulties, but also promoted the standardization and upgrading of the entire industry, "said Li Yi. The approval of the blueberry export qualification this time not only opens up a broader international market for the enterprise, but also leads the Chentuan blueberry industry to move towards higher quality and higher branding level, guided by export standards.

Wang Junshan, Deputy Director of Rizhao Customs, stated that the customs will continue to deepen the "streamlining administration, delegating powers, and improving services" reform, focus on the export demand of characteristic agricultural products in the jurisdiction, improve the "source control+process supervision+fast customs clearance" regulatory model, support more agricultural enterprises to expand their international markets, and use the power of customs to assist in the revitalization of rural industries.
