Zhuhai Airport opens "Zhuhai Clark" international cargo route, cross-border e-commerce packages fly directly to the Philippines with increased speed

On January 18, under the supervision of Doumen Customs under the jurisdiction of Gongbei Customs, a full cargo plane carrying 19.298 tons of cross-border e-commerce goods, digital cameras and cloth took off from Zhuhai Jinwan Airport and arrived at Clark Airport in about two hours, marking the official opening of the "Zhuhai Clark" international cargo route of Zhuhai Airport, further strengthening the air cargo network on the west bank of the Pearl River and Southeast Asia.

The "Zhuhai Clark" route, which has been opened this time, mainly carries cross-border e-commerce goods. It is planned to operate 6 flights per week, with an estimated annual cargo volume of over 5000 tons. The opening of this route has established an efficient air logistics channel between Zhuhai and Clark, Philippines, greatly improving the logistics efficiency of direct flights of local goods from Zhuhai to the Philippines. Cross border e-commerce packages can arrive more quickly, saving transit costs.

"The opening of the route has effectively reduced the logistics cost and time cost of enterprises, and also strengthened our confidence in exploring the Southeast Asian freight market." The relevant person in charge of Zhuhai Traffic Control Airport Logistics Co., Ltd. said that the route will focus on serving the freight demand of foreign trade enterprises in the west bank of the the Pearl River for the Philippine market, and help improve the quality and growth of cross-border trade.

To ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the route, Doumen Customs has further optimized the customs clearance process, strengthened cooperation with local customs, and jointly carried out the export "9610" customs transfer test for the cross-border e-commerce export "land air" intermodal transport mode; Optimize personnel allocation, tailor regulatory service plans, provide "7 × 24" 24-hour appointment clearance services for enterprises, and fully guarantee the smooth and unobstructed opening of new air routes; By relying on the linkage of local and port customs intelligent checkpoint systems and other means, the clearance time of goods has been saved by one hour, allowing Zhuhai Airport's air logistics to run the "customs acceleration".

With the opening of the "Zhuhai Clark" international cargo route, the regular cargo routes at the Zhuhai Airport International Cargo Port will increase to 10 flights per week. Since its opening, the international cargo port business of Zhuhai Airport has continued to expand. As of January 18th this year, Doumen Customs has supervised 72 international cargo planes, with a cumulative supervised cargo volume of nearly 1700 tons and a cargo value exceeding 800 million yuan.
