On January 20th, three imported helicopters arrived smoothly at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport. Guangzhou Customs officers waiting on the apron immediately carried out on-site supervision. After inspection, all helicopters were released smoothly and ready for delivery. This is the first batch of bonded leased imported helicopters at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Port.

It is understood that these three imported helicopters will be used for emergency rescue services in Guangdong and transportation support for offshore oil drilling platforms. Two of them are Airbus H175 helicopters, which can carry professional rescue equipment to perform various tasks such as cable landing rescue, casualty transportation, and material delivery. They can effectively fill the emergency rescue gap in complex scenarios such as mountain disasters and maritime distress in Guangdong Province; One Airbus H160 helicopter can carry equipment and personnel to perform tasks such as transporting materials and transporting personnel on offshore oil drilling platforms, meeting the demand for efficient and safe navigation services in the field of offshore oil and gas development.

Thanks to the reform measures of "remote entrusted supervision" by Guangzhou Customs, the batch of bonded leased imported helicopters do not need to stop at the Guangzhou Nansha Comprehensive Bonded Zone where the aircraft leasing company is located, but are directly transported from overseas to the actual use site of Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, greatly reducing the cost of enterprises.

The helicopters imported this time are mainly used for emergency rescue. In the past, the introduction of leased equipment required multiple round trips between the registered and used locations to handle procedures, which not only took time and effort, but also increased the idle cost of the equipment. Now that we have completed the bonded leasing filing in Nansha, Guangzhou, the helicopters can be directly cleared at the Guangzhou Baiyun Airport port, saving about 2 days of transit time per flight. Guangzhou Customs is deepening the reform of the aviation leasing industry. In response to the characteristics of "short lease term, fast turnover, and emphasis on efficiency" of bonded leasing, the supervision process of bonded leasing aircraft is optimized. After enterprises declare in the Nansha Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Nansha Customs registers and entrusts Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Customs to implement on-site supervision. They do not need equipment to actually enter and exit the comprehensive bonded zone to enjoy the bonded policy.

It is reported that by 2025, the cumulative number of imported aircraft under customs supervision and bonded leasing at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport will reach 30, with a cargo value of approximately 14.56 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 37%. (Guan Yue/Text)
