Recently, Weihai Customs, a subsidiary of Qingdao Customs, seized a total of 714 "three no" weight loss products through the airport travel inspection entry channel.

During the supervision of inbound flights, the on-site customs officer discovered an abnormal baggage inspection image of a passenger who selected the "no declaration channel" for clearance. After on-site unpacking and inspection, 714 pieces of "three no" weight loss products were found in his luggage. The passenger claimed that the above-mentioned weight loss products were carried for others. After rapid on-site testing, the batch of "three no" weight loss products tested positive for methamphetamine.

Methamphetamine is a potent stimulant that directly acts on the central nervous system and is an active ingredient in methamphetamine, with addictive properties. According to the Drug Administration Law of the People's Republic of China, the import and export of narcotic drugs and psychotropic drugs within the scope of national regulations shall be accompanied by an import permit and an export permit issued by the drug regulatory department of the State Council.

At present, the customs have lawfully detained the batch of "three no" weight loss products. (Wang Zixu, Jiang Zheng/text)
