Recently, at the customs inspection site of Qingdao Jiaodong Airport, a passenger was found hiding and carrying tobacco products into the country. A total of 1120 cigarettes and 19 electronic cigarettes were seized.

During the supervision of inbound flights, customs officers noticed that a passenger who chose to clear customs through the "no declaration channel" had evasive eyes and an abnormal bulging pocket in his coat. The on-site customs officers then inspected the passenger. After inspection, 1120 cigarettes (4 pieces and 16 boxes) and 19 electronic cigarettes were found in the passenger's luggage and coat.

According to the "Measures for the Supervision of Inbound and Outbound Luggage of the People's Republic of China Customs" and other regulations, inbound passengers are allowed to carry 400 cigarettes (including heated cigarettes), 20 cigars, or 500 grams of tobacco duty-free, provided that the total value of their luggage does not exceed the tax-free amount; Among them, passengers entering from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Macao Special Administrative Region are exempt from carrying 200 cigarettes (including heated cigarettes), 10 cigars, or 250 grams of tobacco.
