On January 20th, Zhao Zenglian, Deputy Director General of the General Administration of Customs, met with the delegation led by the Director General of the General Administration of Customs of Cuba, Cordoves. Focusing on the implementation of the strategic consensus of the two heads of state, the two sides exchanged views on issues such as establishing a "smart customs" cooperative partnership, carrying out AEO mutual recognition cooperation, strengthening mutual assistance in law enforcement administration, the application of regulatory innovative technologies and capacity building, and the "the Belt and Road" customs food safety cooperation, and signed customs cooperation documents. Cuban Ambassador to China Bai Shide attended the meeting.
