Yangzhou baozi steamed overseas

In the twelfth lunar month of Jianghuai, the flavor of the year gradually becomes stronger. A batch of steamed buns worth about 200000 yuan from Yangzhou Fenghe Food Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Fenghe Food") will soon cross the ocean under the supervision of Yangzhou Customs, which is under the jurisdiction of Nanjing Customs, to deliver authentic Chinese "New Year's flavor" to diners around the world.

As the first established baozi production enterprise in Yangzhou to obtain the qualification for filing as an export food production enterprise, Fenghe Food sells 10% of its total sales to overseas markets. After New Year's Day, we entered a peak period of production and shipment, "said Li Chengzhong, Executive Vice General Manager of Fenghe Food. Currently, we are working hard to complete the last batch of overseas orders before the Spring Festival, while also working overtime to prepare and stock up for the" annual steaming season ".

At present, Yangzhou City has more than 30 standardized production enterprises for frozen buns, among which 15 enterprises such as Wuting Food and Yechun Food have obtained the qualification to register as export food production enterprises. They export about 50 million buns annually and their products are well received in overseas markets.

Yangzhou Customs guides enterprises to establish a full chain quality control system from the source to the finished product, clarifies key monitoring items, and conducts verification based supervision on key links to ensure that products meet international standards. At the same time, in response to the peak shipment before the Spring Festival, a "green channel" for local inspection of seasonal products has been opened, and production and logistics plans of enterprises have been coordinated in advance. Regulatory plans have been formulated ahead to help enterprises quickly clear customs during the peak season. (Li Xingyu, Yuan Shengbo/Text)
