According to statistics, by the end of 2025, Jiangmen Customs has issued a total of 14000 RCEP certificates of origin for enterprises, involving goods worth nearly 5 billion yuan.
Asia Pacific Senbo (Guangdong) Paper Industry Co., Ltd. is a leading enterprise in the paper industry in Jiangmen region, and its products are exported to RCEP member countries such as Thailand and Indonesia. Previously, obtaining a certificate of origin required driving back and forth to customs, but now most RCEP countries accept self printed certificates of origin. After submitting the visa application through the international trade 'single window', we can receive the review result in just a few minutes. After printing the certificate in the office, we can send it to the customer for customs clearance on the same day. ”The logistics manager of the company, Tian Ye, said, "Self printing is too convenient for us. Currently, over 90% of our RCEP certificates of origin are printed using self printing.
In order to enable enterprises to quickly enjoy RCEP tariff reductions, Jiangmen Customs continues to deepen the reform of origin visas. Through the three-dimensional empowerment of "intelligent review+self-service printing+approved exporters", the RCEP tariff dividends are accelerated, achieving "zero errand, instant review, and instant benefits" for visas. According to statistics from Jiangmen Customs, by 2025, the self-service printing rate of RCEP certificates of origin will reach 99%, and the visa processing time for enterprises will be reduced from 2 working days to minutes, resulting in a clearance efficiency improvement of over 90%.
In addition, the promotion of the RCEP approved exporter system allows AEO enterprises in the customs area to enjoy the convenience of "independent benefits". After becoming an approved exporter in 2023, Yatai Senbo (Guangdong) Paper Co., Ltd. has issued a total of 158 declarations of origin by the end of 2025, fully enjoying the convenience brought by the system.
With the approved exporter qualification, we no longer need to go to customs to apply for certificates of origin one by one. This not only saves visa time, but also allows us to flexibly respond to urgent orders, "sighed Tian Ye.
In recent years, Jiangmen Customs has interpreted tariff reductions and origin policies in preferential trade agreements such as RCEP for enterprises through various methods such as "online+offline" policy lectures, distributing promotional brochures, and compiling WeChat articles. By 2025, a total of 43 lectures and training sessions will be held, covering more than 1000 enterprises. By the end of 2025, over 1200 RCEP origin declarations have been independently issued by approved exporters in Jiangmen Customs District, with a value exceeding 2 billion yuan.
