Recently, Yantai Customs officers under Qingdao Customs seized 980 "three no" weight loss products from passengers' luggage on inbound flights.
During the supervision of inbound flights by customs officers, it was discovered that the baggage inspection image of a passenger who selected the "no declaration channel" for entry was abnormal. After unpacking and inspection, the above-mentioned product was found. These products have no production date, no quality certificate, and no manufacturer, and belong to the "three no" weight loss products. After rapid on-site testing, the product tested positive for methamphetamine.
Methamphetamine is a potent central nervous system stimulant and an active ingredient in methamphetamine. It is addictive and classified as a Class I psychotropic drug. Long term use of "three no" weight loss products containing controlled psychotropic substances can lead to drug dependence and seriously endanger physical and mental health.
According to the Drug Administration Law of the People's Republic of China, the import and export of narcotic drugs and psychotropic drugs within the scope of national regulations shall be accompanied by an import permit and an export permit issued by the drug regulatory department of the State Council.
At present, the customs have temporarily detained this batch of weight loss products. (Zhao Peng/Text)
