Flowers growing on paper are becoming increasingly popular overseas - Fujian's exports of pulp, paper and its products exceeded 10 billion yuan in the first 11 months

Relying on a well-established industrial chain cluster and green innovation momentum, Fujian's pulp, paper and its products are exported to many countries and regions around the world, becoming a shining business card for the high-quality development of Fujian's foreign trade. According to Xiamen Customs statistics, from January to November, Fujian exported pulp, paper and its products worth over 10 billion yuan, reaching 10.71 billion yuan. Among them, exports in November amounted to 1.1 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.8%.

Data shows that ASEAN is the largest export market for Fujian's pulp, paper and its products. From January to November, Fujian exported 2.93 billion yuan worth of pulp, paper and its products, accounting for 27.4% of the province's total export value of pulp, paper and its products during the same period. During the same period, Fujian exported pulp, paper and its products to the European Union worth 1.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.6%, accounting for 13%. In addition, Fujian's exports to emerging markets such as the Middle East, Latin America, and Africa are booming, with export values of 760 million yuan, 610 million yuan, and 320 million yuan respectively, an increase of 48.7%, 10.6%, and 44.4% year-on-year.

According to officials from Xiamen Customs, private enterprises are the main force in Fujian's export of pulp, paper and its products. From January to November, private enterprises in Fujian exported pulp, paper and its products worth 8.74 billion yuan, accounting for over 80% of the total export value of pulp, paper and its products in the province during the same period. During the same period, foreign-invested enterprises in Fujian exported 1.62 billion yuan worth of pulp, paper and its products, accounting for 15.1%.

As the largest pulp and paper manufacturing enterprise in Fujian, Liansheng Pulp and Paper (Zhangzhou) Co., Ltd. produces paper products that are highly favored by overseas consumers due to their environmental friendliness and high quality. "Our company has built a closed loop of the whole industrial chain of 'afforestation pulping papermaking', and our products are exported to Bangladesh, Türkiye, Malaysia and other countries and regions. This year, we have also successfully opened the markets of Argentina, Chile, Poland and other countries." Wang Zhiyuan, the export area manager of Liansheng Pulp Paper (Zhangzhou) Co., Ltd., said, "After preliminary market research, we found that the European market has relatively high recognition of FSC certified products. We use FSC certified raw materials to produce finished paper in order to further open up the European market. In the first 11 months of this year, our company exported a total of 131000 tons of white cardboard, and for the first time exported household paper and cultural paper, with export values of 13000 tons and 1484 tons, respectively. ”
