China News Network: Ningbo Cross border E-commerce Special Supervision Zone Ranks First in China in Export Volume by 2025

Ningbo Customs disclosed data on January 28th: In 2025, the export value of Ningbo's cross-border e-commerce special supervision area reached 5.99 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 24.7%, and the export value remained the highest in China.
On that day, under the supervision of Meishan Customs under Ningbo Customs, a batch of plastic painting board goods from Ningbo Yaji Logistics Co., Ltd. were successfully released after declaration. This enterprise is one of the beneficiaries of the export business in the Ningbo cross-border e-commerce special supervision area.
The export model of special supervision areas for cross-border e-commerce has significant advantages such as "tax refund upon entry, high delivery time, and low return and exchange costs". The goods are entered into bonded warehouses in special supervision areas within China in bulk, and then shipped overseas in parcels according to actual orders. This not only improves logistics efficiency, but also significantly reduces the overseas warehousing risks and capital occupation pressure of enterprises.
After the goods are declared and enter the comprehensive bonded zone, tax refunds can be processed, and then exported in batches according to the overseas sales plan, "said Li Feng, the person in charge of Ningbo Yaji Logistics Co., Ltd. This model effectively helps enterprises prepare goods in advance, respond quickly to orders, and make overseas customers feel more convenient.
According to the staff of Ningbo Customs, this year, the local authorities will implement cross-border e-commerce regulatory reform measures, deepen the collaborative management between customs and enterprises, promote the coordinated development of "front-end warehouses+overseas warehouses", and empower the integration and upgrading of "cross-border e-commerce+industrial belts".
