Ma Ta Fu Lai, the New Year's flavor is gradually strengthening, and the footsteps of the Spring Festival are getting closer. The cross-border e-commerce supervision venue in Yantai Comprehensive Bonded Zone is also becoming increasingly busy.
Inside the venue, Kong Xiangxu, a customs officer from Yantai Customs under Qingdao Customs, and his colleagues are carefully verifying the information of a batch of containers that are about to be shipped. In the box, red lanterns, exquisite spring couplets, auspicious New Year pictures and other "China-Chic New Year goods" are stacked neatly, giving off a strong Chinese New Year flavor. This batch of goods will be directly shipped to South Korea by the 'Hai Lan Jing' liner, and then transferred to various parts of the world through South Korea. Kong Xiangxu introduced that in recent days, Chinese New Year's goods carrying traditional Chinese culture are accelerating their flow into overseas markets through the 'fast lane' of cross-border e-commerce.
"Before the Spring Festival, the increase of small commodities with Chinese New Year elements such as lanterns, Spring Festival couplets and New Year pictures was obvious, and holiday gift boxes representing Chinese traditional culture such as brush, porcelain and Paper Cuttings were on sale. More and more Chinese culture lovers participated in the celebration of the Chinese Spring Festival," said Hao Tian, the export business customs manager of Hangzhou Cainiao Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd.
With the rapid development of cross-border e-commerce, the competitiveness of Chinese products is becoming stronger, and the types of goods provided for the international market are becoming increasingly diverse. "During the Spring Festival, overseas consumers have a very strong demand for Chinese New Year goods. The sales of Chinese New Year goods in the overseas market have increased significantly year on year. The sales of traditional national style goods such as lanterns, New Year pictures, Han suits, red envelopes and so on have increased by about 30% year on year. Chinese smart products such as cutting-edge cosmetics, domestic digital, China-Chic blind boxes, and car multimedia have entered the vision of overseas consumers, and the sales have increased by 70% year on year." Ming Lan, the customs affairs director of AliExpress, introduced.
Recently, our daily turnover of more than 20 container trucks has been operating at full capacity in various departments of the site, "said Li Jun, General Manager of Yantai Comprehensive Bonded Zone Baoyuntong Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. The company timely deployed shipping workers, adjusted work schedules, and ensured that Chinese characteristic New Year goods were delivered to consumers on time and on schedule.
Yantai Customs has made sufficient preparations to ensure the smooth operation of this "New Year's goods export" channel. Customs officers actively respond to the needs of enterprises and develop a "on duty, standby, and mobile" inspection plan for cross-border e-commerce holiday exports in advance, ensuring smooth customs clearance and enabling goods to come, be inspected, and released at any time.
We make reasonable use of convenient measures such as' simplified declaration ',' one declaration, one inspection, one release ', etc., to achieve dual improvement in risk prevention and product inspection efficiency for cross-border e-commerce exports, and to enhance the consumer experience while doing a good job in quality control, "said Ding Sheng, head of the Inspection Department of the Yantai Customs Office in Zhifu.
Next, Yantai Customs will continue to strengthen the linkage and cooperation between customs and enterprises, assist in the construction and operation of new cross-border e-commerce export sites in Yantai, summarize regulatory experience, optimize inspection processes, and provide warmer services, better measures, and more efficient ways to help domestic e-commerce reach the world.
