From January to November, Fujian's exports to the European Union exceeded 200 billion yuan

According to Xiamen Customs statistics, from January to November, Fujian Province's imports and exports to the European Union reached a record high of 236.21 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.3%, accounting for 13.8% of Fujian Province's total foreign trade imports and exports during the same period. Among them, exports to the European Union reached 2016.7 billion yuan, an increase of 9%, surpassing the 200 billion yuan mark for the first time in history during the same period; Imports from the European Union amounted to 34.54 billion yuan, a decrease of 1.2%.

From the perspective of trade scale, as the most important trading partner of Fujian Province to the European Union, Germany's position has become increasingly stable, with both the growth rate and proportion of imports and exports increasing. From January to November, Fujian Province's imports and exports to Germany amounted to 92.53 billion yuan, a significant increase of 28.7%, accounting for 39.2% of Fujian's total imports and exports to the European Union during the same period, an increase of 6.5 percentage points compared to the same period last year.

From the perspective of the nature of enterprises, private enterprises continue to play the role of a "driving force" in foreign trade. From January to November, private enterprises in Fujian Province imported and exported 169.9 billion yuan to the European Union, an increase of 17.3%, accounting for 71.9%. During the same period, foreign-invested enterprises imported and exported 50.39 billion yuan, while state-owned enterprises imported and exported 15.8 billion yuan.

From the perspective of exports, from January to November, the "new three types" (lithium batteries, solar cells, and electric vehicles) became the strongest driving force for Fujian Province's export growth to the European Union, with an export value of 67.59 billion yuan, a significant increase of 32.8%, driving Fujian Province's export growth to the European Union by 9 percentage points, of which electric vehicles increased by 191.1% and lithium batteries increased by 30.8%. In addition, the exports of agricultural products and sports goods increased by 16.8% and 29.4% respectively, with a relatively fast growth rate.

From the perspective of imports, aircraft and their components have performed outstandingly. From January to November, the import value reached 4.23 billion yuan, a significant increase of 88.6%, accounting for 12.2% of Fujian Province's total import value to the European Union, driving Fujian Province's import growth to the European Union by 5.7 percentage points. In addition, imports of pulp and its products, as well as integrated circuits, increased by 47% and 156.1% respectively, with a relatively fast growth rate.
