European sausages wearing 'Jiangxi clothes'

Recently, the logistics workshop of Jiangxi Hongfu Intestine Clothing Group Co., Ltd. was busy and orderly. Workers dressed in cold proof clothing carried buckets of tightly sealed casings into cold chain transport vehicles. A batch of casings worth 1.42 million yuan will be shipped to Germany after passing the quarantine and supervision of the Ganjiang New Area Customs under the jurisdiction of Nanchang Customs.

The EU has high standards for imported casings and frequent changes in certificate templates. Thanks to the strong support of the Ganjiang New Area Customs, they have formulated 'one enterprise, one policy' service measures for us, guided us to improve the safety and hygiene production system, perfect key links such as raw material acceptance, product processing, traceability management, and veterinary drug residue monitoring. Intestine casing is an indispensable "outer garment" for sausages. In order to ensure the smooth export of local intestine casings, the Ganjiang New Area Customs has taken the initiative to launch the "Customs Director's Door to Door Policy" activity, timely interpreting the legal requirements of EU imported intestine casing quality and safety, animal welfare, hygiene control, product traceability and recall management, guiding enterprises to organize production according to the standards of the export destination country, and avoiding compliance risks in advance. We will strengthen quality monitoring, strictly implement the annual risk monitoring plan, guide enterprises to carry out self inspection and self-control of finished products and send them for third-party testing, and implement product quality and safety supervision throughout the entire chain. At the same time, in response to the high cost of cold chain transportation of casings, convenient measures such as "advance declaration", "appointment inspection", and "cloud issuance" have been implemented to ensure that goods are inspected, released quickly, and certificates are issued in a timely manner, helping enterprises improve customs clearance efficiency and reduce logistics costs.

According to statistics, in the first 11 months of 2025, the customs of Ganjiang New Area supervised the export of 1448 tons of sausage products with a value of 119 million yuan, an increase of 31.23% and 93.9% year-on-year, respectively.
