Türkiye Initiates Anti dumping Sunset Reexamination Investigation on China related Polyester Synthetic Filament Yarns

On December 31, 2025, the Ministry of Trade of Türkiye issued Announcement No. 2025/45, stating that the second sunset review investigation on anti-dumping of polyester synthetic filament yarn (Turkish: Di ଽ erleri, poliesterlerden) originating in China, India and Malaysia should be initiated at the application of Türkiye manufacturers. The Türkiye tax number of the product involved is 5402.47.

Stakeholders should submit survey questionnaires and case evaluation opinions within 37 days from the date of announcement.

On April 26, 2013, Türkiye launched an anti-dumping investigation against polyester synthetic filament yarns originating in China, India and Malaysia. On October 16, 2014, Türkiye made a final affirmative determination on the case and began to levy anti-dumping duties. On July 12, 2017, Türkiye made a final anti-dumping review on the products involved in the above three countries, and raised the anti-dumping duty on the products involved in China to 0.25 US dollars/kg and 0.30 US dollars/kg (see Announcement 2017/17). On August 4, 2019, Türkiye launched the first sunset review investigation of anti-dumping against the products involved in the above three countries. On January 9, 2021, Türkiye made the first affirmative final judgment of sunset review of anti-dumping against the products involved in the above three countries, and decided to continue to impose anti-dumping duties for five years, with China's anti-dumping duties ranging from 0.25 to 0.30 dollars/kg, India's from 0.15 to 0.17 dollars/kg, and Malaysia's from 0.15 to 0.17 dollars/kg (see Announcement 2021/1).
