Add another customs supervision center to the Chengdu metropolitan area
On January 14th, the reporter learned from Chengdu Customs that the Deyang International Railway Logistics Port Customs Supervision Center has been officially put into use recently after passing the acceptance inspection of Deyang Customs, which is under the jurisdiction of Chengdu Customs. This means that adding another customs supervision center to the Chengdu metropolitan area will better serve the expansion of opening-up to the outside world.
It is understood that the Customs Supervision Center of Deyang International Railway Logistics Port is the first railway transportation customs supervision operation site in Deyang. Its official use marks the formal realization of the "port forward, on-site customs clearance, sea rail intermodal transportation, and seamless docking" mode of Deyang's import and export trade.
In the process of supervising the acceptance of work sites, Chengdu Customs and Deyang Customs have collaborated and conducted multiple on-site investigations. Based on the requirements of the setting standards, suggestions for site planning and setting have been proposed, and cooperation between customs and local authorities has been strengthened. Joint meetings are held regularly to jointly promote the implementation of supporting projects such as container number identification systems. In December 2025, after the enterprise submits the application, it will achieve "submitting the application on the same day, sending personnel for inspection the next day, and passing the approval in the same week".
It is reported that Deyang region is located inland. After being approved as a railway transportation customs supervision operation site, the import and export goods of enterprises in Deyang jurisdiction can be processed locally through customs declaration, inspection and other customs clearance processes at the site. The clearance time is greatly reduced, and goods can be directly imported and exported from the port through rail sea intermodal transportation, rail rail intermodal transportation and other methods, avoiding losses such as waiting in different places, allowing enterprises to better enjoy "cost reduction, speed up and efficiency improvement" in import and export trade.
