In 2025, the anti smuggling department of Gongbei Customs will maintain a high-pressure and strict crackdown, solidly carry out joint special operations such as the "National Gate Sword 2025", and investigate and handle 19683 various smuggling and illegal cases with a total value of 9.613 billion yuan and 51 major cases with a total value of over 10 million yuan throughout the year.

In 2025, Gongbei Customs will resolutely implement the overall national security concept, resolutely carry out central decision-making and deployment, and effectively safeguard national economic security and strategic resource security.

Severely crack down on smuggling by "water travelers" and investigate 11828 cases. Among them, the smuggling case of "parallel traders" with the code name "GD2502" has a value of 1.752 billion yuan.

Severely crack down on maritime smuggling, investigate and handle 12 criminal cases with a total value of 37.61 million yuan.

In the past year, Gongbei Customs has maintained a "zero tolerance" attitude towards the smuggling of "foreign garbage", cracking down on the smuggling of "foreign garbage" and investigating 57 cases.

Strictly crack down on smuggling of endangered species and their products, investigate 103 cases, investigate major non tax related cases such as the endangered butterfly product series, and return 58 seized endangered wild animals, including the flathead turtle, to Hong Kong.

In 2025, Gongbei Customs will make cracking down on gun, ammunition, and drug smuggling a top priority in safeguarding national security. They will investigate the largest case of smuggling drug products in the customs area and seize 528000 pieces of drugs containing pseudoephedrine.

Strictly crack down on smuggling related crimes, and through strengthening cooperation with local public security and market supervision departments, the anti smuggling department of Gongbei Customs has investigated 7 cases of money laundering, involving a total amount of 3.8695 million yuan.
