Live Emperor Crab Transit Trade Helps Enterprises Reduce Costs and Increase Efficiency

Recently, a batch of live Russian king crabs weighing 650 kilograms were successfully exported from Changchun Longjia International Airport on Hainan Airlines flight HU7915, marking the first time that our province has conducted transit trade of live king crabs through bonded logistics in the comprehensive bonded zone. It is reported that this batch of emperor crabs took only 9 hours from the exit of Hunchun Comprehensive Bonded Zone to the smooth boarding exit.

The person in charge of the export enterprise of this batch of emperor crabs stated that this transit trade model is expected to save the enterprise more than 40 million yuan in operating costs annually. It is understood that the storage and transportation conditions for fresh king crabs are strict, and the entire process requires timely delivery. To ensure the smooth relay of customs clearance, Changchun Customs has established a special joint guarantee team to build an integrated supervision and service system of "qualification guarantee+technical support+risk control+fast customs clearance", ensuring the completion of transit registration in the shortest possible time. Customs proactively connects with enterprises' export plans, provides point-to-point policy consultation, and coordinates various links of the logistics chain in advance; At the same time, develop a normalized smooth operation plan, open a "green channel", provide "appointment clearance" services, optimize the clearance process, and ensure efficient clearance.

We rely on Hunchun's location adjacent to Russia, the policy advantage of 'batch entry and batch shipment' in the comprehensive bonded zone, and the transportation efficiency advantage of the airport to reduce costs and increase efficiency for enterprises, break through industrial chain bottlenecks, and help our province build a 'national distribution center for imported king crabs', efficiently and quickly connecting with the international market, "said Huang Jianfeng, Deputy Director of Customs at Changchun Longjia International Airport.
