On the 7th, a "Yiwu Ningbo Zhoushan Port" sea rail intermodal train loaded with 100 TEUs of small commodities departed from the customs supervision site of Yiwu (Suxi) International Hub Port and headed towards Beilun Port Station of Ningbo Zhoushan Port. This marks that since the opening of the hub port on June 27, 2025, the volume of containers arriving and departing has exceeded 100000 TEUs, and the value of customs supervised transit goods has reached 6.62 billion yuan, injecting strong momentum into promoting high-quality development of foreign trade in the first year of the 15th Five Year Plan.
As a key node of the Yiwu Ningbo Zhoushan Open Channel and the core carrier of the construction of the "Sixth Port Area" of Ningbo Zhoushan Port, Yiwu (Suxi) International Hub Port has continuously optimized the "Yiwu Ningbo Zhoushan Port" logistics channel since its operation, significantly improving the efficiency of sea rail intermodal transportation. At present, the departure frequency has increased from 2 trains per day to 4 trains, with a daily average business volume of about 800 TEUs. The loading and unloading time for a single train has been reduced from 5 hours and 18 minutes to less than 2 hours, and the regional radiation capacity continues to increase.
