As the largest ski glove production base in China, Jiaxiang County has established a complete industrial chain of "research and development design - auxiliary material procurement - collaborative processing - export exhibition and sales", with more than 300 glove production and supporting enterprises, producing 80 million pairs of gloves annually with an annual output value of 2.5 billion yuan. Ski gloves from Jiaxiang County not only occupy over 60% of the domestic market share, but are also exported to more than 60 countries and regions, accounting for nearly 80% of the industry's total exports. According to statistics, in the first 10 months of this year, the export value of gloves products in Jiaxiang County exceeded 500 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5%.
In order to fully stabilize the basic situation of foreign trade, Jiaxiang County has increased policy support for local glove and other foreign trade enterprises since the beginning of this year, focusing on market development, subject cultivation, innovative development, quality and efficiency improvement, ensuring policy stability and continuity, strengthening the financing guarantee mechanism for foreign trade backbone enterprises, and actively expanding the coverage of export credit insurance policies. At the same time, we will fully leverage the platform carriers such as development zones, glove industry parks, and new highland industry parks, increase the incubation and cultivation efforts of foreign trade entities, and organize foreign trade enterprises such as Jianhua Zhongxing and Quancheng Gloves to participate in exhibitions such as the Canton Fair and the Munich Sports Goods Exhibition in Germany.
Nowadays, there are over 100 million ski enthusiasts worldwide, and the demand for high-end gloves in the market is increasing. However, the core raw materials involve brand patents and must be imported from abroad, resulting in high value and high capital occupation. Chen Jianhua, Chairman of Jianhua Zhongxing Gloves Co., Ltd., admitted that the lining fabric and waterproof coating of high-end ski gloves rely on imports, which has put pressure on the company's capital turnover when expanding production.
