Recently, in the warehouse of a cosmetics enterprise in Linyi, Shandong Province, two customs officers from Linyi Customs under Qingdao Customs are conducting an identification on the use of dangerous goods packaging for a batch of exported perfume. After passing the appraisal, this batch of perfume received the Appraisal Result Sheet for the Use of Outbound Dangerous Goods Transport Packages issued by the customs on the same day and were successfully sent to Malaysia.

"We have been committed to developing new types of perfume. From perfume formulations to exquisite packaging, we are constantly innovating to meet the different tastes and needs of consumers in different countries and regions. Now there are more than four or five hundred kinds of perfume exported." Fang Yuan, manager of Linyi Weiyisi Daily Chemicals Co., Ltd., said that the enterprise's main business is perfume, shampoo, toilet water and other daily cosmetics. After more than ten years of market exploration and accumulation, its independent perfume brand has gradually gained a foothold in the international market, and its export volume has increased year by year.

With the gradual enhancement of domestic consumers' beauty consumption concepts, China has become the world's largest cosmetics market, and the "beauty economy" represented by the beauty industry is flourishing. In recent years, domestic cosmetics have made a qualitative leap in terms of technological innovation, market competitiveness, and international influence. Many domestic products have been widely welcomed by beauty enthusiasts at home and abroad, gradually opening up the international market.

In Linyi, beauty companies are accelerating their pace of going global, with an increasing variety of exported cosmetics. Products such as facial cleansers, body lotions, and essential oils are being exported for the first time. In response to the diverse types of exported cosmetics and the large number of export countries, Linyi Customs has formulated a targeted assistance plan under the "one product, one policy" policy to safeguard cosmetics companies' market expansion overseas.

Customs will regularly collect the latest technological requirements from countries and regions such as the United States and the European Union, and will promptly remind us to pay attention to warning information, so that we can confidently explore new markets.

According to statistics, the export value of cosmetics under the supervision of Linyi Customs in 2025 is 42.76 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 88%. (Wang Jianmin/article)
