In the first 11 months of this year, the import and export of private enterprises in Fujian Province exceeded one trillion yuan

Private enterprises in Fujian Province adhere to the spirit of "Jinjiang Experience" and dare to fight and win, relying on the advantages of overseas Chinese hometown location and policy dividends, to accelerate in the foreign trade track and become the backbone of high-quality development of foreign trade in Fujian Province. According to statistics from Fuzhou Customs, in the first 11 months of this year, private enterprises in Fujian Province imported and exported 1.06 trillion yuan, accounting for 61.5% of the total import and export value of Fujian Province's foreign trade during the same period, firmly occupying the position of the main force in foreign trade. Among them, exports amounted to 736.92 billion yuan and imports amounted to 318.71 billion yuan.

Private enterprises in Fujian Province are expanding their overseas trade partners in multiple ways. In the first 11 months, the import and export of private enterprises in Fujian Province to countries jointly building the "the Belt and Road" was 561.79 billion yuan, up 0.6% year on year, accounting for 53.2% of the total import and export value of private enterprises in Fujian Province in the same period. In emerging markets, Latin America and Africa have become new highlights of import and export growth for private enterprises in Fujian Province. In the first 11 months, private enterprises in Fujian Province imported and exported 104.48 billion yuan and 61.5 billion yuan respectively to Latin America and Africa, with year-on-year growth of 13.6% and 19.7%, respectively.

The trade mode presents a trend of general trade as the main form, with multiple trade formats developing in synergy. In the first 11 months, private enterprises in Fujian Province imported and exported 906.23 billion yuan through general trade, accounting for 85.8% of the total import and export value of private enterprises in Fujian Province during the same period; Import and export through bonded logistics amounted to 67.76 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 23.2%; The import and export through processing trade amounted to 53.72 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17.5%.

The export commodity structure continues to optimize, and the import of agricultural products has increased significantly. In the first 11 months, private enterprises in Fujian Province exported mechanical and electrical products worth 304.06 billion yuan, accounting for 41.3%, firmly ranking as the largest export commodity. Emerging industries have become new growth points in foreign trade, with exports of "new three types" products reaching 121.59 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13%. Meanwhile, ship exports amounted to 2.84 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 189.8%; The export of basic organic chemicals reached 9.77 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.3%; The export of agricultural products reached 55.47 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.2%. In addition, during the same period, private enterprises in Fujian Province imported agricultural products worth 58.02 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 31.6%.

Fujian Zhongjing Petrochemical Co., Ltd., a private enterprise, is currently the only complete industrial chain enterprise in the world that covers liquefied petroleum gas terminals, low-temperature tank areas, propane, propylene, polypropylene, and polypropylene films. It has the world's largest production base for propylene and polypropylene, and its "Zhongjing brand" BOPP film special material is widely popular due to its excellent tensile properties and low film breakage rate, selling well both domestically and internationally. With the support of customs, we will import nearly 2.6 million tons of propane in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 46%, and export about 100000 tons of polypropylene, accounting for about 5% of the total national export volume.
