The new international "air to air transportation" model has landed in Harbin

Recently, a batch of goods from Hong Kong, under the supervision of customs at Harbin Taiping Airport, completed the conversion of orders and changed to different airline flights, and were loaded onto Russian Airlines flights. Through the new international "air-to-air transfer" mode, they successfully flew from Harbin Taiping International Airport to Moscow, achieving a "smooth" transfer. This is the first international transfer "exchange business" in Northeast China, marking a key breakthrough in the international air cargo transfer mode at Harbin Port.
Air to air transfer "refers to the transportation mode in international air transportation where the port of origin and destination of international goods are both overseas airports, and under customs supervision, they are transported through two or more relay flights to the final destination. This can effectively increase flight capacity and achieve the flow of goods between unconnected destinations. The landing of "air to air transfer" in Harbin will help activate the existing belly cargo resources of international routes at Harbin Taiping International Airport, improve the operational efficiency of all cargo routes, enrich flight options, and provide better transportation methods for high value-added and time sensitive goods.
Compared with traditional modes, 'air to air transportation' can save customers nearly half of their time costs and over 10% of transportation costs. The implementation of the "bill of lading" mode for international transit has improved the efficiency of international air logistics transportation at Harbin Taiping International Airport, established an "air corridor" connecting Harbin and Russia, strengthened the hub function of Harbin Airport, and also increased global customers' confidence in Harbin Taiping International Airport's international transit business.
In order to promote the smooth landing of "air to air transfer", Harbin Taiping Airport Customs relies on the information platform to sort out various links such as flight landing, cargo transfer, and transit status, formulate standardized operating procedures, conduct full process embedded supervision, provide "7 × 24 hours" customs clearance guarantee services, and achieve "on-demand review and release" of transferred goods.
