The US International Trade Commission has made a final ruling on the double industry damage of thermoformed molded fiber products

On December 15, 2025, the United States International Trade Commission (ITC) voted to make a positive final ruling on anti-dumping and anti subsidy industry damage to Thermoformed Molded Fiber Products imported from China and Vietnam, determining that the products in question, which are accused of dumping and subsidy practices, have caused substantial damage to the US industry. Based on the positive final ruling of the US International Trade Commission, the US Department of Commerce will issue anti-dumping and countervailing duty orders on the products involved in the above-mentioned countries. This case mainly involves products under US Customs codes 4823.70.0020 and 4823.70.0040.

On October 29, 2024, the US Department of Commerce launched anti-dumping and countervailing investigations into hot formed molded fiber products imported from China and Vietnam. On September 25, 2025, the US Department of Commerce made a final anti-dumping and countervailing ruling on hot formed molded fiber products imported from China and Vietnam.
