In the first 11 months of this year, the export of wires and cables in Fujian Province increased by over 80%

As an important province for exporting wires and cables in China, Fujian Province has maintained a strong growth trend in wire and cable exports. According to statistics from Fuzhou Customs, in the first 11 months of this year, Fujian Province exported 13.14 billion yuan worth of wires and cables, a year-on-year increase of 80.5%, ranking fourth in the country in terms of export scale.

The export of wires and cables in Fujian Province covers nearly 200 countries and regions, with a wide market distribution. In the first 11 months of this year, ASEAN, Hong Kong, and the European Union were the main export markets for wires and cables in Fujian Province, with exports of 1.96 billion yuan, 1.51 billion yuan, and 1.19 billion yuan respectively, an increase of 6.6%, 195.7%, and 44.7% year-on-year. In addition, Fujian Province's exports of wires and cables to Mexico also performed well, with an export value of 1.16 billion yuan in the first 11 months, a year-on-year increase of 31.2%.

Foreign invested enterprises are the main force in the export of wires and cables in Fujian Province. In the first 11 months of this year, foreign-invested enterprises in Fujian Province exported wires and cables worth 11.35 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 116.1%, accounting for 86.4% of the total value of wire and cable exports in Fujian Province during the same period. In addition, the wires and cables exported by Fujian Province are mainly foreign brands. In the first 11 months, Fujian Province exported overseas branded wires and cables worth 10.58 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 110.2%, accounting for 80.5%.
