Recently, Beijing Customs disclosed the total import and export value of goods in the Beijing region (including central units in Beijing) for the first 11 months, totaling 2.93 trillion yuan. Among them, exports reached 568.35 billion yuan, an increase of 3%, setting a new historical high for the same period, while imports reached 2.36 trillion yuan. In November, Beijing achieved an import and export volume of 252.62 billion yuan.
Specifically, since July this year, the export value of Beijing has continued to grow year-on-year for five consecutive months, with the first 11 months reaching a new historical high for the same period. Among them, the export value of integrated circuits, automobiles, flat panel display modules and other commodities has increased significantly, and as of November, the export value has exceeded the level of the whole year last year.
The export performance of private enterprises is impressive. In the first 11 months, the import and export of private enterprises in Beijing reached 418.07 billion yuan, an increase of 8.2%, accounting for 14.3% of the region's total import and export value. Among them, the export value was 153.44 billion yuan, an increase of 24.9%. The export value has exceeded the level of the whole year last year and exceeded 150 billion yuan for the first time. In addition, foreign-invested enterprises imported and exported 485.83 billion yuan, accounting for 16.6% of the total import and export value of the region; State owned enterprises imported and exported 2.02 trillion yuan, accounting for 69% of the total.
In the first 11 months, the foreign trade ties between Beijing and the countries jointly building the "the Belt and Road" have become increasingly close. Beijing's import and export to countries jointly building the "the Belt and Road" totaled 1.76 trillion yuan, accounting for 60.1% of the region's total import and export value.

Among them, exports of automobiles and automotive parts amounted to 24.08 billion yuan and 22.7 billion yuan, respectively, with an increase of 25.4% and 14.4%; The export of integrated circuits and flat panel display modules reached 25.06 billion yuan and 10.5 billion yuan, respectively, with an increase of 11.8% and 70.5%; The export of medical equipment and devices reached 8.5 billion yuan, an increase of 23.2%; Photovoltaic products and wind turbines were exported for 3.76 billion yuan and 2.89 billion yuan respectively, an increase of 242.3% and 6.2%. The above-mentioned products collectively drove the export growth rate of Beijing by 3.5 percentage points.
The import and export performance of the "dual hub" ports is strong. In the first 11 months, the total import and export volume of Beijing through the "dual hub" ports of Capital International Airport and Daxing International Airport reached 704.22 billion yuan, an increase of 6%, setting a new historical high for the same period; The import and export of Daxing International Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone (Beijing area) reached 4.63 billion yuan, an increase of 54.8%; The import and export of Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone reached 172.52 billion yuan, an increase of 2.8%.
Outstanding achievements in the import and export of cultural products. In the first 11 months, the import and export of cultural products in Beijing reached 23.37 billion yuan, an increase of 25.9%, with a strong trend of cultural technology integration and the development of new cultural formats. Among them, imports amounted to 15.09 billion yuan, an increase of 10.1%, and exports amounted to 8.28 billion yuan, an increase of 70.3%. Specifically, the import and export of audio and video equipment, toys, and art were 6.38 billion yuan, 5.3 billion yuan, and 1.24 billion yuan, respectively, with growth rates of 9.1%, 155.5%, and 148.1%.
