Front page of China National Gate Times: First cargo ship of China Europe Arctic Express returns to Ningbo Zhoushan Port

Recently, after more than two months of sailing and crossing more than 10 stations, the first cargo ship of the China Europe Arctic Container Express (hereinafter referred to as "China Europe Arctic Express"), the "Istanbul Bridge", successfully completed its voyage and returned to Zhoushan Port in Ningbo, docking at Beilun Phase II Terminal. This marks the official opening of the "Third Channel" of China Europe trade, and a crucial step in the construction of the core carrier channel of the "Ice Silk Road".
On September 23rd, the "Istanbul Bridge" ship set sail from Zhoushan Port in Ningbo, and arrived at the first European port in the UK, Frichtow Port, via the Arctic Northeast Passage in just 20 days. It then docked at Hamburg Port in Germany and Gdansk Port in Poland, and finally completed all loading and unloading work at Rotterdam Port in the Netherlands. Then, we returned via Suez Canal, passed through the port of Said in Egypt, the port of Ambali in Türkiye and other ports, and returned to Ningbo Zhoushan Port successfully, verifying the safety and sustainability of large container ships sailing in the northeast channel of the Arctic.
