India terminates anti-dumping investigation on nitrotoluene by EU

On December 11, 2025, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced that it had decided to terminate the anti-dumping investigation on para nitrotoluene (PNT) originating from or imported from the European Union, in response to the applicant's request to withdraw the investigation.

On June 16, 2025, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced that it would initiate an anti-dumping investigation into p-nitrotoluene originating from or imported from the European Union, in response to an application submitted by Indian company Aarti Industries Limited. The Indian customs code for the product in question is 29042050. The dumping investigation period of the case is from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024, and the injury investigation period is from 2021 to 2022, 2022 to 2023, 2023 to 2024, and January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024.
