Mexico launches anti-dumping investigation into US pig legs and shoulders

On December 15, 2025, the Mexican Ministry of Economy announced the initiation of an anti-dumping investigation into pig legs and shoulders (Spanish: pierna y espaldilla de cerdo) originating in the United States, upon application by a Mexican producer. The dumping investigation period of this case is from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2024. The products involved are pork legs and shoulders, whether boned or boneless, including fresh, refrigerated or frozen ones. The TIGIE tax numbers of the products involved are 0203.12.01, 0203.19.99, 0203.22.01 and 0203.29.99. The announcement shall take effect from the day after its publication.
